Dr. Tolu Asumah is the convener of ISCHELA Africa and a dedicated practitioner in child psychology and school wellbeing frameworks. Having spent years designing school counseling departments and coaching student support leads, she founded ISCHELA to provide schools across Africa with the exact tools, ethical guidelines, and structures they need to protect children.
ISCHELA Africa directly builds upon her extensive school-based advocacy work with SCEN Africa and EduLife. Through these platforms, she has trained hundreds of educators, mentored counselors, and implemented social-emotional learning (SEL) programs that make holistic education achievable in the African context.
